Our first curriculum has arrived!! I am so excited to start using My Father's World with both kids. I already love it!! The teacher's manual is so simple & easy to follow. Can't wait to get started...

Jacob loved playing with kinetic sand & sea shells he got from Florida! 

Today we read The Beginner's Bible & listened to Noah's Ark story on CD. We read "God Made Family", "God Made The Earth" & "Adam & Eve."  

We also made Noah's Ark paper plate art projects while listening to Noah's Ark song playlist on YouTube. 

The Kids watched Baby Einstein's Noah's Ark video on the computer!

Then Jacob painted a HUGE RAINBOW on roll out paper! 

Jacob colored with markers and watched a Simple Songs for Kids playlist.

Both kids had fun doing alphabet & shapes window stickers together! 

Then Jacob did computer time on StarFall.com and Madelyn watched Barney Farm Animals.

Called To Home School.

We home school our children because we know it is what God has called us to do & what is best for our family. 

Galatians 1:10 - For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

 Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.

We begin each day with Bible Study in the morning. We are reading The Beginner's Bible!

 Today we read Genesis 1-3 & 6-9! We read about Creation, Adam & Eve, The Sneaky Snake & Noah's Ark.

The kids loved learning about Noah's Ark & the different kinds of animals!

We listened to the song "Who built the Ark?" by Raffi & the kids made Noah's Ark projects!

Jacob's Noah's Ark project! He put 2 of each kind of animal ON the Ark! 

Then we learned about different kinds of animals & the number 2!
